Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Received $1.1 Million Order for Infrastructure Equipment to Support Trunking Network Expansion in Southeast Asia

 Comtech EF Data Corp., received a $1.1 million follow-on order for infrastructure equipment. A Mobile Network Operator (MNO) in Southeast Asia will utilize the equipment to support a cellular trunking network expansion. The order specified the CDM-760 Advanced High-Speed Trunking Modem, companion redundancy switches, transceivers and amplifiers.

The operator was previously utilizing the Comtech EF Data CDM-750 Advanced High-Speed Trunking Modems. In preparation for the network expansion, the MNO evaluated the latest high-speed model, the CDM-760 Advanced High-Speed Trunking Modem. The CDM-760 was selected as the model to deploy based on its spectral efficiency, higher speeds and support for Automatic Uplink Power Control (AUPC).
