IDMI to Launch DVB S2 Broadband Platform on NSS-7

 

SES NEW SKIES,  announces that IDMI, the international arm of IDM, Lebanons leading ISP with more then 125000 users, has contracted 40 MHz on SES NEW SKIES NSS-7 satellite to introduce a new DVB S2 SCPC broadband platform serving customers in the Middle East and Africa.

We are continuously striving to stay abreast of technology and to offer our customers the best solution in the fastest way at a fair price, says Maroun Chammas, Executive Director of IDMI. With our strong knowledge and experience in internet and connectivity in the Lebanese market, and based on our extensive experience in system integration and VSAT services, IDMI has selected the NSS-7 satellite with its high power to offer DVB S2 broadband connectivity to customers across a wider geographic area.

According to Zakie Karam, General Manager of IDMI, IDMI works with financial institutions, government organisations and corporate customers and has the mission of providing customised broadband & telecommunication services to satisfy connectivity requirements all over the world. NSS-7 not only offers optimal coverage of our target areas, but its orbital position is also a major hot spot for internet connectivity into the Middle East and Africa.
