Avanti in Kosovo Contract Win

Avanti Communications has signed a contract to supply broadband and business continuity products to Cactuss, a leading provider of IT systems integration services to government and other clients in Kosovo.

The contract is worth a minimum of £100,000 in the first two years.

David Williams, Chief Executive of Avanti, said: “I am pleased to note that Avanti is succeeding in extending its distribution deep into new territories. Avanti’s superfast broadband satellite, HYLAS, will be the first of its kind launched to serve Kosovo and the surrounding region, which urgently needs new telecoms infrastructure. With 46 distributors now signed around Europe we are well on the way to filling HYLAS.”
