Jordan to air industrial satellite channel

July 31

Jordan will air globally an international industrial satellite channel on Sunday, targeting economic and industrial news both in Jordan and across the world, local daily Jordan Times reported on Thursday.

Dubbed "International Industrial," the channel will broadcast on the Badr Satellite (Aravs SAT) on the frequency of 12283.7 MHz, said Rabah Rousan, senior consultant with the channel.

"It focuses on the economy and industry locally, globally and throughout the Arab world," Rousan said.

Moreover, it will provide an analysis of Arab financial markets and international investments, promote scientific research and follow up on the latest technical developments in business, capital markets and various commercial activities, added Rousan.

The channel, which already has offices in Turkey, Egypt and Dubai, plans to establish regional offices in several Arab countries and around the world.
