THAICOM Public Company Limited announced Nation Broadcasting Corporation Public Company Limited (“NBC”) which is one of most popular channel in Thailand, “NATION CHANNEL” has chosen the THAICOM 5 satellite to broadcast its channel on a free-to-air basis on the Ku-band beam. The Contract period is 10 years. One of Nation channel is currently broadcasting on the DTV satellite dish on Channel 35. NBC is also planning to broadcast another channel in 2010.
