Tatanet Partners With VT iDirect And ST Electronics To Expand Services In Demanding Markets

VT iDirect, Inc. with its sister company, ST Electronics Pte Ltd, announced a strategic partnership with Tatanet Services Ltd (Tatanet), India’s fastest growing VSAT service provider.

Tatanet has implemented an iDirect Series 15000 Universal Hub in Mumbai, India, which will enable it to expand its business across multiple developing markets that require specialized service capabilities. Tatanet, a division of Nelco Ltd., is the first commercial service provider in India to operate an iDirect network.   

The partnership equips Tatanet with the capabilities to meet the advanced needs of several growing markets in India. Through iDirect’s Intelligent Platform, Tatanet can provide satellite VPN, VoIP and Internet broadband services to major enterprises and organizations, supporting remote communications, business continuity networks and a wide array of critical IP applications. The iDirect platform also enables Tatanet to deliver communications solutions for the maritime broadband and GSM backhaul markets, and to host Virtual Network Operators.
