Satellite Networks Awarded Five-Year
Contract from SPAWAR

L-3 Narda Satellite Networks
announced today that it is among
seven companies awarded a multi-year
Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite
Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to bid on
portable satellite communications (SATCOM)
terminals as required by the Space
and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR)
Systems Center in Charleston, S.C.
The award to L-3 Narda Satellite
Networks was made for Lots I through
VII and subsequent option years.
This key
contract will assist Narda Satellite
Networks in providing U.S. naval forces with highly
reliable portable SATCOM terminals,
including the Fly Away Triband
SATCOM Terminal (FTSAT) – AN/USC-60A,
the Ground Multi-band Terminal (GMT)
– AN/TSC-179, the Quad-band Dual Hub
Terminal (QDHT) – AN/TSC-161 and the
TDC Quad-band Dual Hub SATCOM
Terminal (QHSAT) – AN/TSC-168.
