Globecomm Systems Awarded Multi-Year Services Contract Valued at up to $6 Million

Globecomm Services Maryland, was awarded a contract by a global services contractor in support of the missions of various U.S. Government Agencies valued at up to $6 million.

Globecomm will provide satellite based Internet and voice services to support various locations. The contract term covers the remainder of calendar year 2009 valued at approximately $2 million, with 2 customer option years valued at approximately $4 million. Installations are expected to begin in the Company’s fourth quarter ending June 30, 2009.

Tom Fullerton, Sr. Director, Sales Technical Solutions, said, “This project will utilize Globecomm’s teleports in New York and in Maryland in tandem to satisfy both the satellite and terrestrial requirements of the project, and leverage our comprehensive lifecycle support capabilities to install and maintain the network.”
