World TV Expands Content
Aggregation Business
with Verizon FiOS TV

World TV, has
expanded, with the
initial launch of 14
of its international
channels on Verizon
FiOS TV.
World TV is
providing Verizon,
America’s
fastest-growing
television service
provider, with
rights, content
aggregation,
encoding and
encryption as well
as fiber delivery
(see list of
provided channels
below). Verizon
delivers FiOS TV
over the nation’s
most advanced fiber-optic
network straight to
customers’ homes and
businesses.
This agreement is
proof of World TV’s
success as a source
of international
content for all
types of television
platforms in North
America. World TV
has access to
multicultural
content from five
continents –
including over 200
channels currently
offered to
Direct-to-Home
viewers via
Intelsat’s Galaxy-25
satellite in the
United States.
Currently in
discussion with
several other major
cable operators,
telcos and broadband
TV providers in
North America, World
TV draws on the
broadcast expertise
of GlobeCast, which
is a subsidiary of
France Telecom with
18 offices
worldwide. World TV
also has its own
team of broadcast
experts –located in
New York, Washington
D.C., Sunrise,
Florida and Los
Angeles.
