SeaMobile Awarded Contract with United States
General Services Administration (GSA)
SeaMobile Enterprises,
announced that its MTN Satellite Services
division was awarded a major contract by the
General Services Administration (GSA). The award
authorizes MTN to offer its full suite of
satellite communication services to government
agencies, including the U.S. military, via its
GSA schedule. GSA is an independent agency of
the United States government established to help
manage and support the basic functions of
federal agencies.
MTN Satellite Services
provides “Always On
– Always Available”
worldwide connectivity through its integrated
global C-Band and multi-regional Ku-Band VSAT
networks. The company is dedicated to serving
the specialized needs of the government and
military. Its advanced IP over MPLS backbone is
approved for use with U.S. government encryption
technologies, and provides a secure, private,
reliable, redundant and robust integrated global
network. The solutions are everything-over-IP,
dynamic, flexible, managed telecommunications
services.
SeaMobile’s
MTN Satellite Services group provides
telecommunication solutions to a significant
number of government entities today, including
the Military Sealift Command, the Space and
Missile Defense Command, the Naval Surface
Warfare Center, the Naval Research Laboratory,
the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric
Administration, the Commander, Naval
Installations Command, and the Federal Emergency
Management Agency, to name a few.
