Project Mutual Telephone Takes Advantage of ATCi’s Simulsat Valued Customer Replacement Program

October 24, 2011

Antenna Technology Communications Inc. (ATCi), announced from that Project Mutual Telephone, a long standing and valued ATCi customer has taken advantage of ATCi’s Simulsat replacement program and has upgraded its current Simulsat 5 antenna system to the new and improved Simulsat-5b.

Simulsat was specifically designed to economically improve upon the longstanding worldwide workhorse of multibeam antennas, the original Simulsat-5. The new and improved multibeam was engineered from the ground up to meet the requirements of the latest DVB-S2 and MPEG-4 technology.

“Our focus is on service, products and technology that provide quality solutions for the communication needs of our customers,” explained Rob Thompson of Project Mutual. “With the ever evolving DVB-S2 and MPEG-4 changes we felt that now was the critical time to upgrade to the new Simulsat for optimum performance,” Thompson concluded.

“We are happy that Project Mutual will be taking advantage of our valued customer Simulsat replacement program and are sure their customers will benefit from the upgrade,” said ATCi’s CEO, Gary Hatch. “It is so important that Simulsat customers with antennas that are 10 years or older upgrade to the new design so they are able to maintain the highest quality digital reception. The update is fast and cost-effective because our customers keep their original mount and simply update with a new reflector and feedbox - all during their standard maintenance window,” Hatch added.
